Of the Top 10 Grossing iPhone Games Only 1 is $0.99. Why do iPhone developers still target cheapskates? (via @gamasutra)
According to Gamasutra, the top 10 grossing iPhone games this week includes only one $0.99 cheapie. $0.99 seems so cheap for anything, I wonder why games devs are so keen to charge it. Is it really true that a 99c game will sell more than twice as much as the same game for $1.99?
This week's top-grossing U.S. App Store titles are:
1. Plants vs. Zombies ($2.99)
2. Brothers in Arms 2: Global Front ($7.99)
3. Call of Duty: World at War Zombies ($9.99)
4. Monopoly ($4.99)
5. Bejeweled 2 ($2.99)
6. Words With Friends ($2.99)
7. Rock Band ($6.99)
8. All-in-1 Gamebox ($0.99)
9. The Sims 3 ($6.99)
10. Tetris ($4.99)

App developers, how do you decide prices for your iPhone games? If you're charging 99c for a game, do you have plans to change that in the future? Do you wish you could?
